Three-week American: Day six – Toronto

The beginning of the first full day I spent in Toronto consisted mainly of walking through the city and figuring out how the public transport works – if you do figure it out you will see that it is very effective and you can get pretty much anywhere in downtown at any time. I think I got a fairly good impression of the city in these few hours, so here are some of the impressions I managed to capture with my camera.

The next stop was the Ripley’s aquarium. The aquarium didn’t disappoint me, because there were many different marine creatures and a good mix of large and smaller aquariums and even though it was crowded the visitors were able to see everything without having to wait too long.

And finally we did something that pretty much everyone who visits Toronto does – we went up the CN Tower. The waiting time was about three quarters of an hour (and a couple hundred meters xD), but of course the view once you reach the top is quite amazing.

What an exhausting but eventful day!
